Description We are on the lookout for a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team situated in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with the responsibility of handling accounting reconciliations, delivering detailed and timely reports, and contributing to long-term financial planning and budgeting. Moreover, you will work closely with key operational leaders across different business units, ensuring high-quality and accurate work products.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate accounting entries and perform reconciliations

• Contribute to the provision of detailed analytics and statistics of various business units

• Aid in the submission of periodic budget and forecast

• Utilize Oracle and Excel for the development of financial reports and analytics

• Offer support in ad-hoc reporting, statistics, and analysis as required

• Assist the Controller with projects such as audits

• Provide general accounting support as necessary

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks

• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger

• Prepare journal entries and execute month-end close procedures

• Utilize Oracle, SAP, and other similar financial systems

• Apply Excel formulas, data modeling techniques, and Microsoft Excel for financial tasks

• Perform internal financial reporting and manage monthly close procedures Requirements • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Must be skilled in performing Bank Reconciliations.

• Experience with General Ledger is a necessity.

• Ability to create and manage Journal Entries is mandatory.

• Must be familiar with the Month End Close process.

• Knowledge of Oracle and SAP software is required.

• Proficiency in Data Modeling is essential.

• Ability to use Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Experience with Monthly Close processes is needed.

• Must be able to conduct Internal Financial Reporting.
