    Position Summary

    The primary objective of this role is to implement and maintain procedures, systems, and reports which address project status and forecasts.

     

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

     

    + Develop and maintain a cost/schedule, analyze, appraise, and forecast schedules, cost, estimating, and management information functions

    + Interface with client management and coordinate project control with other related programs and within the core group

    + Maintain cost-loaded schedule and prepare payment applications to the client

    + Manage vendor and subcontractor claims

    + Manage EEO and Small Business functions and labor reporting for the project

    + Manage subcontractor contracts and payments

    + Manage the procurement schedule for the project

    + Work with management on planning, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, safety and coordination of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff

    + Participate in project decisions regarding cost and scheduling

    + Investigate problems and/or reported incidents; identify and recommend solutions/alternatives as appropriate

    + Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc.

    + The ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment.

    Education/Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required

    + 5 – 7 years engineering experience required
