• Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

    Waste Connections (Apache Junction, AZ)


    We are looking for a safety conscience **Industrial Maintenance** **Mechanic** to join the team at our recycling facility in Apache Junction, Arizona!

     

    M-F: 7AM - Done (50-55 hours per week)

     

    Pay: $25.00+ DOE

     

    As a tech in our site, your focus will be on the overall health/maintenance of the plant and as well as operating equipment such as forklifts and skid steers. This will also involve: inspections, diagnosing, and issuing repairs to mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, grinders, shredders and conveyor systems.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Perform service calls for plant issues and breakdowns.

    + Preform minor to major repairs/PM maintenance.

    + Maintain a safe, clean environment incompliancewith corporate and OSHA, NFPA standards.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    + Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field _preferred_

    + Ability to work an average of 40-50 hours a week

    WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT:

    + Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

    + Valid driver’s license

    + Ability to lift up to 75lbs.

    + Maintains a clean, safe work area incompliancewith corporate and OSHA standards.

     

    Garbage is very stable and we work year round!
