Position Summary

Bridgestone Americas Tube Business (BATB) is currently taking applications for a college engineering student to work Part-Time in our Plant Store Room. Applicant must have a desire to learn our manufacturing business and will be provided training to assist them in meeting the requirements of this position. Work schedule is flexible to allow the Intern to meet their collegiate classes & activities.

Responsibilities

+ Cycle count inventories

+ Order store room replenishment

+ Verify fixed assets

+ Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Educational

Required: Second or Third year college student in an engineering discipline

Desired: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Major

Work Experience

Required: History of any structured work, whether school participation or outside work

Desired: Manufacturing

Ability to work 20-25 hours per week M-F; occasional weekends

Minimum Qualifications

Typically requires a high school degree; or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree
