Provides courteous and prompt front line support for end users on a variety of applications

• Supports the functionality of all IT-based hardware, including computers, printers and digital signage

• Assists with monitoring and maintaining the company’s network systems and servers

• Identifies, documents, and implements solutions to problems

• Performs network back-ups, resolve related issues and measure performance

• Assists with server implementation, upgrades, and configuration

• Maintains hardware and software inventory

• Acts as back-up to Systems Administrator when unavailable

• Supports ERP system

• Assists in the development of network design and procedures

• Sets advanced user and device network permissions based on best practice policies

• Implements and monitors system and network security

• Restores systems from backups including PCs and network servers

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of:

o Basic understanding of IP connected networks, Microsoft windows servers such as exchange and terminal servers

o Basic hardware troubleshooting on a variety of devices such as PC’s laptops, thin client terminals and printers

o Basic understanding of Microsoft Office

+ Windows based operating systems

+ TCP/IP based networking

+ Virtualization technologies (VMWARE)

+ Active Directory including UID/Computer/Printer/group policy administration

o Advanced hardware troubleshooting including network equipment (Routers, Switches)

• Skill to:

o Learn industry-related software, such as Syteline
