    Assistant Professor - Department of Mathematics and Statistics

    FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

    The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Hunter College CUNY invites applications for a tenure- track Assistant Professor position in Mathematics or Statistics to begin in the fall of 2025. The successful candidate will teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, serve as a mentor to Master's and possibly Ph.D students, develop and maintain a high quality research program and participate in service to the Department and the University. We seek outstanding scholars in all areas of mathematics and statistics.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Candidates must have a Ph.D in Mathematics or Statistics and must show excellence in both research and teaching.
