Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

About this unit:

+ 36 Bed Unit; 1:6 Nurse to Patient Ratio

+ Variety of acuity including all medical patients, abdominal surgical, general surgical, neuro, pulmonary, renal, infection, and more.

+ Challenging and rewarding unit with strong culture and cohesive teamwork

+ Opportunity to gain certifications, grow and develop towards specialty areas with supportive management/leadership teams.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

+ Current state of Missouri RN licensure required.

+ Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required.

+ BLS certification required at hire and maintained.

+ ACLS required within 6 months.

+ Previous clinical experience preferred.

+ Basic computer skills
