    What We're Looking For:

    + Proven experience in cake decorating techniques, specialty cakes, pies, and desserts

    + Knowledge of bakery production and equipment

    + A passion for customer service

    + Strong interpersonal skills

    + Ability to maintain and build upon our excellent reputation

    Responsibilities:

    + Preparing, decorating, packaging, pricing and merchandising specialty cakes, pies and desserts

    + Assisting customers on the phone and in person

    + Producing special orders and specialty items to customer specifications

    + Informing customers about bakery products

    + Ensuring stocking and rotation of all bakery products and supplies

    + Maintaining clean, safe and sanitary bakery area and equipment

    + May be required to utilize equipment such as mixers and ovens

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Outgoing, friendly, neat and professional

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Excellent communication skills to ensure excellent customer service

    + Ability to solve practical problems

    + Possesses basic math skills

    + Strong organizational skills

    Education and Work Experience:

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + At least 2 years experience in cake decorating preferred

    + Requirements:

    + Requires standing, walking, bending, and/or climbing throughout the entire work day

    + Repetitive arm and hand movements; bending, carrying, and lifting

    + Requires transferring product either horizontally or vertically of up to 50 lbs

    + Weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required; flexible store assignments and hours
