    JOB SUMMARY

    Job Profile Summary

    Responsible for safely performing pipeline operations and maintenance in an assigned district comprising several miles of various pipeline sizes and associated station facilities. Must have people and task prioritizing skills to successfully schedule, supervise, direct, and manage several pipeline operators as well as contract personnel, vendors, regulatory field representatives, and the general public.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    + Accurate measurement of gas into and out of an assigned pipeline district.

    + Cost control of pipeline operations and maintenance in assigned district; Review and approve monthly invoices.

    + Proper operation and maintenance of pipeline facilities in accordance with Company procedures/policies and DOT regulations.

    + Coordinate, supervise, and inspect the construction of minor pipeline facilities in district or region.

    + Knowledge and/or experience with cathodic protection, measurement, and/or SCADA equipment is beneficial.

    + Supervision of Pipeline Operators; Manage and assure that all required environmental, health, and safety training is current and complete for all direct reports.

    + Understand and ensure compliance reporting with applicable Federal and State agencies in a timely manner.

    + Ensure adherence of employees and contract personnel with company policies, standards, and procedures.

    + Manage and participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Management of Change (MOC), Process Safety Management (PSM), and the company’s safety program with all employees.

    + Manage work order system (Maintenance Connection) assuring completion of all required task.

    Education

    + High School diploma or GED, required

    Work Experience

    + 10 years’ experience in pipeline operations and maintenance.

    + Supervisory experience, preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Knowledge in operating and maintaining natural gas pipeline and station facilities.

    + Must have demonstrated a strong commitment to Safety.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Must have people skills and task prioritizing skills

    + Valid driver’s license.

    + Must be capable of physical duties which require climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching and lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds

    + Must be capable of performing outdoor activities in sometimes harsh weather conditions

    + Must pass pre-employment drug screening and subject to random DOT drug screening
