Material Specialist – Contract Role

You are someone who enjoys solving scheduling puzzles, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams, and working hands-on to ensure seamless production processes. You thrive in a dynamic environment, have strong computer skills, and value accuracy in inventory management.

What You’ll Do:
+ As a Material Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth manufacturing and production processes. Key responsibilities include:
+ Scheduling: Plan and schedule production and service parts with minimal constraints, ensuring timely delivery.
+ Expediting: Proactively manage production and purchased parts to meet urgent needs.
+ Coordination: Communicate material needs with other departments and support engineering and material changes.
+ Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy, integrity, and reporting (production and scrap data).
+ Administrative Support: Help with staffing plans, general admin tasks, and departmental alignment.
+ Shop Floor Support: Help implement better processes and monitor milestones while working on-site.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Strong computer skills required, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
