• Credit and Collections Supervisor

    Description

    We are looking for a Credit/Collections Supervisor to become an integral part of our team in BELTSVILLE, Maryland. This is a direct-hire position that sits on site full-time Monday-Friday. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing our credit and collections procedures, maintaining customer credit records, and ensuring the timely payment of outstanding invoices.     Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the credit and collections process, ensuring procedures are followed to optimize cash flow

    • Establish credit limits for new and existing customers through risk assessment and financial analysis

    • Review customer orders daily, making decisions to release or hold based on credit limits and collections

    • Take charge of the collections process, ensuring the timely payment of outstanding invoices

    • Handle customer billing issues and disputes swiftly and effectively, taking responsibility for the resolution process

    • Regularly generate reports on key credit and collections metrics, analyzing the data for trends and making recommendations for improvement

    • Foster relationships with financing companies, monitoring credit usage and providing internal user support

    • Maintain quarterly financing reporting, providing insightful analysis to upper management

    • Collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Applicant must possess strong skills in Credit - Collections

    • The candidate should have a strong background in Accounts Receivable (AR).

    • Experience with B2B or consumer collections

    • Knowledge of lien waivers

    • Experience partnering with financing companies
