Job Description

We are an Accounting Firm offering bookkeeping, financial and tax services to multiple clients in the Real Estate and Construction industry.

Description

+ Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for company and clients. Review work of bookkeeping staff for accuracy

+ Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements

+ Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing

+ Communicate directly with clients on needs of the company, troubleshoot issues that arise on client’s accounts and provide feedback and training to the bookkeeping staff

+ Assist management team on process improvements for clients

+ Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts

+ Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances

Requirements

+ Proven experience as senior accountant/assistant controller or other similar position

+ Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations

+ Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)

+ Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks, Sage. etc..)

+ Well-organized with ability to prioritize

+ Very good communication and interpersonal skills

+ Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

+ BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred

+ Professional certification (e.g. ) is a plus
