This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

As a Director of Functional Cost here at Honeywell, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing and managing the functional cost management function within the organization. You will play a critical role in driving cost optimization, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making to support the achievement of business objectives. You will report directly to our VP of Business Analysis and Planning and you will work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial performance of the organization. You will lead a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support in cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Your strategic mindset and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities will contribute to the overall success of the organization. By partnering with cross-functional teams, you will drive financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the functional cost management function, overseeing cost optimization, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making.
+ Develop and implement cost management strategies and initiatives to drive financial performance and achieve business objectives.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency in business processes.
+ Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive profitability.
+ Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
+ Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support cost analysis and reporting.
+ Manage and develop a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
+ Partner with stakeholders to drive financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
+ Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ 10+ years of experience in finance, cost management, or a related field.
+ Strong financial analysis and strategic decision-making skills.
+ Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
+ Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
+ Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
+ Experience in a leadership role within a multinational organization.
+ Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and analyze complex financial data.
