    Job Description

    Campus School at Boston College is a private, publicly funded special education day school within the Lynch School of Education and Human Development on the Boston College campus. The Campus School educates students ages 3-22 with extensive support needs, including complex medical needs.

     

    The Campus School Administrative Assistant supports the Program Director, Assistant Director and Business Manager to prioritize and manage all administrative requirements of the Campus School.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible for scheduling all IEPs under the direction of the Assistant Program Director

     

    Responsible for maintaining the IEP and progress report calendar and informing all teams of IEPs scheduled and/or postponed and rescheduled

     

    Responsible for producing IEP documentation through Frontline under the direction of the Assistant Program Director

     

    Responsible for updating and maintaining student and staff documents, including but not limited to: intake forms, transportation lists, staff lists, student lists, district liaison lists, and Frontline documentation

     

    Maintain MCAS grade requirements/student grade levels/ages/SASIDs document

     

    Coordinate with the Director and Assistant Director for planning and setting up meetings and events including ordering of food/supplies and ensuring the upkeep of the public areas of school

     

    Maintain a database of employee state mandated training

     

    Organize and process CORI records and attend CORI trainings

     

    Maintenance of student attendance records and monthly submittal of attendance, medicaid and billing

    Coordination with Business Manager on tuition/donation deposits, PCard reconciliation,

    Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Main Office, including but not limited to: answering telephones, assisting in the event of an emergency, coordinating student arrival/dismissal, greeting visitors, management and ordering office supplies, office equipment maintenance, submitting work orders, mail distribution, monitoring and delegation of [email protected] general email box, updating lobby display screen, and any other tasks given by the Director, Assistant Program Director, or Business Manager

     

    Maintain Campus School Google calendar, entering annual calendar and events organized through Main Office

    Requirements

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

    Three years of previous administrative support experience preferred

     

    Experience with the IEP process preferred

     

    Google Drive, Powerpoint, and Canva experience preferred
