    Overview

     

    TITLE: Kettle Worker Bell Ringer - Seasonal

     

    REPORTS TO: Corps Officer

     

    SALARY: $11 per hour, non-exempt

     

    SCHEDULE: Monday to Saturday; 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Flexible Hours); From November 11, 2024 to December 24, 2024

     

    FUNCTION: The Kettle Worker is to assist with the annual Salvation Army kettle effort, including, standing kettles to collect donations and ensure that the kettle is protected until pick-up by the Corps Officer or official kettle personnel

    Responsibilities

    + Collects proceeds as directed from kettle donors.

    + Collects proceeds from shoppers, merchants and other donators.

    + Informs Corps Officer of problems, issues and complaints during the kettle season.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma/GED

    + Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

    + Excellent Social skills a plus.

    + Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by Delaware’s Beau Biden Law based on information found on the SBI and FBI Criminal Record Checks.

    + Must have an understanding of and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
