Elmhurst Hospital Center is seeking a full-time Nephrologist!

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full time Nephrologist. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.

+ Board eligible or certified in Nephrology

+ Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number

Compensation

We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. We also offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package. Compensation ranges from $225,000 to $250k, annualized including faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year. There is additional CME money, a generous retirement plan and opportunity for sessional work.

+ Participate in clinical research, a busy nephrology clinic and consultation services.

+ Provide direct clinical care in the in-patient and outpatient settings for patients under the care of the Department of Medicine’s Nephrology Service.

+ Participate in the teaching of fellows, residents and medical students.
