• Production Support Specialist

    Spectrum is hiring for a Production Support Specialist to support our customer at Lackland AFB, TX.

     

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

     

    + Provide support for Force Protection Security equipment deployed worldwide.

    + Perform inventory of incoming and outgoing repair items to ensure correct items are shipped and received to/from repair vendors, end users, and Government storage functions.

    + Physically move equipment with a forklift, for which they must be professionally trained and licensed. A 60-day grace period to obtain the required license is permitted.

    + Clean soiled equipment received from forward deployed locations using compressed air or a pressure washer prior to placing it into repair lines.

    + Comply with all safety training and equipment requirements. In addition to deliverable reports, support personnel are required to input data to Government produced reports, data systems, and briefings.

    + Specific expertise is required to expedite hardware through the repair process and the defense supply systems to reach end users in worldwide locations. Use of CCSD systems CLASS and PIDS is required, as well as familiarity with stock listing, disposals and initiating purchase requests.

    Requirements

    Experience:

    4 years of experience of the following:

    + Must have Experience in hardware repair and defense supply systems

    + Must have Experience with CCSD systems CLASS and PIDS is required

    + Must have experience with stock listing, disposal, and initiating purchase requests.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Strong communication and inter-personal skills

    + Ability to plan and organize work, and multitask to meet deadlines and work under pressure

    + Ability to work both independently and as a team member

    Education:

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Clearance:

    *Candidate must have an active TS/SCI*
