    $15 - 16.25 / Hour

     

    As an essential part of the **Food and** **Beverage** department, you’ll work with the **T** **raining** team! Here, you will be responsible for conducting training classes for all new associates, as well as returning associates.

     

    **Job Status/Type:** Seasonal

    **Position Level:** Trainer

    **Shift/Schedule Requirements:** Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

    Typical Work Schedule

    + 3 – 5 days a week

    + Shifts can vary based on business needs and holidays

    Positions are currently available for those who are** **16** **or older.

    Responsibilities:

    As** **a** **part** **of the Carowinds** **F&B Training** **team, y** **our daily assigned duties would be as follows** **:

    + Trains seasonal associates at all levels.

    + Reports staffing updates to department leadership team.

    + Administer ServSafe Safe Food Handler course upon associate completion of Orientation.

    + Administer ServSafe Safe Alcohol course upon associate completion of Department Training.

    + Conduct Associate training according to the guidelines provided.

    + Will approve all shifts related to associate training, which will include input if necessary.

    + Update associate records with training information immediately upon completion of trainings.

    + Other duties may be assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Must pass ServSafe: Food Handler, Food Manager, and ABC courses as well as obtain the status of proctor and instructor for the food courses

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office

    + Ability to learn other software programs

    + Must possess communication skills and comfortable with public speaking
