**ManTech** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Linux System Administrator** to join our team in the **Laurel, Maryland** location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Design, deploy and administer virtualized platforms, using VMWare.

+ Configure and manage Linux and Solaris operating systems

+ Installs/loads operating systems software

+ Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

+ Build, install and configure infrastructure related software.

+ The ability to troubleshoot higher-level problems and resolve complex technical issues where documentation is either lacking or non-existent.

+ Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Shall have a minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

+ A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in technical discipline is required. Additional five years of experience may be substituted for degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience

+ Experience in implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access is desired.

+ Understanding networking components is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

+ Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

+ Bending, carrying, kneeling, lifting, light work up to 20 lbs., reaching, repetitive motions, sedentary work, walking, working with data, ability to handle stress & work under pressure, ability to use MS Office, ability to use a PC, analytical or critical thinking skills, interpersonal & people skills, leadership skills, listening skills, multi-tasking ability, oral & written communication skills, organizational skills.
