General Summary

Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in an internal medicine practice setting.

WellSpan Health is seeking anFamily Physicianor anInternistto join ourInternal Medicinepractice in Red Lion, PA. Physician will see patients 18 years or older. Our practice boasts long-term staff, a family environment and has lab and imaging on site.

Position Highlights:

+ Seeking an Internist or Family physician to provide full-time outpatient care

+ The care team is comprised of four physicians and two CRNPs

+ Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm,with one evening until 6pm

+ Will take over a patient panel from current physician, busy practice from day one

+ An experienced Senior Practice Manager

+ Call is 1:7 and is taken from home

+ Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible if a resident

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

+ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

+ Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

+ Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and

+ Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

+ Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and

+ Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Administrative skills.
