    Our client, a Global IT client, is seeking a Data Center Critical Environment Trainer to join their team. As a Critical Environment Trainer, you will be part of the Training and Development Department supporting Data Center Technicians (DCTs), Critical Environment Technicians (CETs), and Data Center Inventory and Assessment Manager Technicians (DIATs). The ideal candidate will have Strong Technical Expertise, Excellent Training and Mentorship Skills, and Deep Understanding of Safety and Incident Response which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    Job Title: Data Center Critical Environment Trainer

     

    Pay Range: $45/hr (Contract)

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Lead hands-on technical training sessions for new DCTs, CETs, and DIATs.

    + Develop and deliver structured training on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire suppression, controls, and security protocols.

    + Utilize real-world troubleshooting scenarios to enhance problem-solving skills.

    + Train on proper handling, maintenance, and repair of critical infrastructure components.

    + Enforce and train on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and conduct safety drills.

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + 3+ years of experience in a critical environment role (DCT, CET, Facilities Technician, Electrical/Mechanical Engineer, etc.).

    + Expertise in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire suppression systems within a data center environment.

    + Strong understanding of safety protocols, incident response, and escalation procedures.

    + Proven ability to train, mentor, and evaluate entry-level technicians in a hands-on setting.

    + Proficiency in using CMMS, telemetry systems, and ticketing systems for facility operations.
