As a Lead Computer Scientist in the Magnet Resonance team at GE HealthCare’s Technology and Innovation Center (R&D), you will work with interdisciplinary project teams to develop customized systems software solutions for investigational MRI platforms that push the envelope of what MRI can do in the clinic and beyond.

Roles and Responsibilities
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the development and transition of technologies from concept to products and/or services for GE HealthCare businesses and customers.
You will:
+ utilize in-depth knowledge of software libraries, tools, and engineering best practices to implement efficient, scalable, and reusable solutions for advanced cross-modality-guided interventions and high-performance brain MRI,
+ customize and harmonize MRI scanner software for multiple investigational MRI platforms, and
+ communicate solutions and analyses via written reports and presentations.
Required Qualifications
+ Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field with at least 15 years of experience implementing customized systems software configurations for investigational MRI scanners.
+ Experience with ExSI, ImageListener and SVAT protocols for customized MRI scanner workflow control.
+ Experience in developing/ modifying RPMs for investigational MRI scanner installations across multiple sites.
+ Proficiency with C, C++, Python or similar, programming languages for customized data communication and processing.
+ Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals at the Master’s level for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $115,200.00-$172,800.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
