What you’ll do as a Directional Drill Operator

+ Safely operate drill equipment on jobsite which may include but not limited to the following: Direction Drill, Backhoe/Excavator, Skid Steer, Tracctor Trailer (Moving Equipment/Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer, Locator

+ Restore and /or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite

+ Develop and maintain a bore schedule

+ Site set-up and clean-up

+ Load and unload tools, materials and equipment on truck

+ Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting construction

+ Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic

What you’ll need

+ To be 18 years of age or older

+ Authorization to work in the United States for this company

+ Must possess a valid Class A CDL - Tanker endorsements strongly preferred

+ Must be experienced with Directional Drill equipment and understand their capabilities and limitations

+ Must be safety conscious

+ Must be able to effectively communicate with crew, customers and vendors

+ Ability to follow instructions

+ Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructions

+ Must be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities

Physical abilities & exposures

+ Routinely: lift 50lbs and work in all weather conditions.

+ Occasionally: lift 75lbs as needed with or without assistance
