Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Hollywood, Florida. The Staff Accountant will play a vital role in maintaining financial records, processing customer credit applications, and responding to customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

• Conduct full cycle accounting duties to ensure financial accuracy

• Perform bank reconciliation tasks to verify financial data

• Prepare and maintain financial statements for review

• Manage both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Record financial transactions through journal entries

• Utilize Yardi software for property management accounting tasks

• Use accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP when required. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant in the Real Estate & Property industry.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Demonstrated ability in performing Bank Reconciliations.

• Extensive experience with General Ledger management.

• Familiarity with the preparation and posting of Journal Entries.

• Ability to manage Month End Close.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Up-to-date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications.

• Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills.
