• Director of Accounting

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Carmel, IN)


    Description We are inviting applications for the role of Director of Accounting within our real estate and property management operations located in Carmel, Indiana. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing our accounting operations, with a focus on property and real estate accounting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the entire property accounting process

    • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable

    • Utilize CRM tools for effective management of customer relationships

    • Responsible for budget procedures, ensuring all processes are correctly followed

    • Coordinate with off-shore teams to maintain seamless operations

    • Implement Entrata for managing property accounting operations

    • Oversee the real estate accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations

    • Act as the primary point of contact for all accounting inquiries and issues

    • Continuously monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry

    • Proven expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

    • Demonstrated knowledge of budget processes in a real estate context

    • Experience in property accounting and real estate accounting

    • Ability to effectively manage and collaborate with off-shore teams

    • Proficiency in using Entrata software for property management accounting tasks
