Strategic leader within learning and development needed in Madison! Join a thriving organization with some big growth plans ahead as their Learning and Development Director. This role is responsible for creating and managing strategies and programs that foster skill enhancement, leadership development, organizational growth, and employee engagement on a global scale. This role will lead a team of one with seven indirect reports and requires a hybrid presence in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience within learning and development specifically as well as strong leadership experience. Key Responsibilities:
+ Utilize data analytics to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend changes for continuous improvement.
+ Design and manage leadership development, technical training, and professional growth initiatives that are scalable, innovative, and inclusive.
+ Build strong relationships with organizational leaders and act as a strategic advisor on talent development needs.
+ Develop and implement enterprise-wide learning and development strategies aligned with business goals to enhance organizational performance.
+ Mentor and manage learning and development staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous learning.
+ Manage the learning and development budget while ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective program delivery.
+ Stay up-to-date on industry trends, compliance standards, and introduce innovative learning practices to enrich employee experiences.
+ Drive initiatives aimed at building an inclusive and diverse workplace through targeted learning programs.
+ Implement processes that align performance improvement strategies with organizational objectives and employee development.
+ Support change management initiatives and foster a culture of ongoing employee engagement and organizational transformation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field
+ 10-15 years of experience in learning and development, training, or organizational development
+ 2+ years in a leadership role
+ Strong project management, strategic planning, and analytical skills
+ Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
