Description

A reputable organization located in Hudson County, NJ is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team.

The Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for:

- Managing the entire Accounts Receivable process, as well as a team of two

- Lead and support the Accounts Receivable team, handling larger accounts and any escalated issues

- This is a very hands on role - must be someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and be hands on with the process and clients

- Support clients with order processing, checking account status to ensure order release and account is updated

- Support payment process with clients; chargebacks, rate changes, hold backs, and shortages

- Handling daily cash, cash receipts, cash applications and any ACH payments

- Collections

- Ideal industry experience is publishing, e-commerce, retail, sellers, products, and logistics/supply chain

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations is necessary for this role.

• Previous experience in the publishing industry is a significant advantage.

• Ability to perform cash reconciliations is expected.

• Experience with daily cash receipts is required.

• Expertise in cash applications is crucial for this position.

• The candidate should have a clear understanding of handling chargebacks.

• Familiarity with eCommerce will be beneficial.

• Experience in logistics and distribution is highly desirable.
