JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Executive, reporting to the Director of Sales, is responsible for managing outside sales for cannabis packaging leads and requests. This role involves direct communication with customers and assisting in the quoting process for projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Assist with maintaining long-term relationships with existing customer accounts and current book of business.
+ Effectively use Dynamics 365 - CRM tool for follow-up, pipeline management, forecasting and lost opportunity tracking. Keeps comprehensive and accurate notes in the system.
+ Actively contribute towards a variety of projects, trade shows, marketing campaigns, and other initiatives within the sales department.
+ Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge, including regulatory knowledge
+ Reporting on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
+ Reach out to customer leads through cold calling, social media, and meetings with cannabis manufacturers.
+ Own quote issuing and follow-up of existing quotes.
+ 25% North America travel is required
