We are looking for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee a team of 25 clinical pharmacists and serve as the site’s Medication Safety Officer.

Responsibilities include:

• Develops, maintains, enhances, and oversees identified area(s) within the pharmacy department that can include: operations of the pharmacy, clinical services of the department, medication safety, quality and regulatory compliance for the department.

• Responsible for implementing corporate strategies for identified area (s) within department: pharmacy operations, clinical services, regulatory compliance and/or medication safety and quality.

• Ensures quality and patient safety regarding medication management at site.

• Develops and implements process improvement in identified areas for the department.

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

* Internal candidates

* Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago

* Candidates with less than 1 year of experience

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met :

* Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

* Must remain in original department/specialty

* Must remain in original Job Title

* Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

*Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:*

* Pharm BS or Pharm.D.

* Three (3) years in a clinical pharmacy position required.

*Required Certification/Registration:*

* Current CA Pharmacy license.

*Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:*

* Hospital experience and previous leadership experience preferred.

* Hospital practice residency preferred.

* Pharm D. degree preferred.

* Working experience with Epic EHR.
