Job Title: Sensory Testing Technician II
Hours/Schedule: Part time (8 am to 2 pm about 1 day a week)
Type: Contract
Overview
Leading consumer goods company looking for an experienced Sensory Testing Technician II. You will be responsible for assisting with the internal sensory testing program. Ideal candidates should have at least a high school diploma, 2 years of experience, and the ability to taste food and beverages across product categories.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain a clean and organized lab that complies with all OSHA and other safety regulations
+ Collaborate with project leaders to understand testing needs
+ Organize and execute internal tests. Ensure all Compusense designs are finalized by checking codes match with labels, printing out placemats and project is assembled. Export results and write draft reports.
+ Design laboratory set-up for projects
+ Manage and ensure accurate and timely preparation of all samples and delivery of reliable data to project leaders
+ Lead test execution of internal testing panels ensuring valid and reliable data is obtained
+ Manage employee testing databases for all internal testing needs
+ Proactively look for ways to increase the effectiveness, productivity and success rate of sample preparation and test execution
+ Maintain storeroom testing supplies
+ Maintain the internal Sensory test calendar as well as the focus group room calendar and consumer kitchen
+ Responsible for communicating upcoming testing to Campbell’s employees via e-mails, signs and electronic signs
+ Schedule other technicians on a needed basis
+ Assist with other test needs as assigned
Requirements
Key Skills:
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
+ Solid computer skills and well versed in Windows Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High school diploma minimum. B.S. degree in preferred.
+ 2 years of relevant work experience.
+ Ability to taste food and beverages across the product categories.
