Akima Global Logistics (AGL) seeks a Program Manager located in the Southeastern United States capable of managing the day-to-day operational, administrative and contractual support functions and activities for a case management contract team in support of a critical federal agency. Directs the accomplishment of site-specific program goals and monitors and reports achievement. Manages an operating budget, manpower, resources, and facilities in performance of contract responsibilities. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and program Quality Management System (QMS). Has experience supporting a large Federal Agency with time-sensitive critical requirements. Knowledgeable of case management operations, American National Standards Institute/International Standards Organization/American Society for Quality (ANSI/ISO/ASQ) Q9001-2000 quality management systems requirements, applicable client SOPs, DOD Regulations, and the Privacy Act. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
+ Manages program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Responsible for the delivery of an assigned program.
+ Manages the planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.
+ Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management.
+ Responsible for managing activities of external consultants, any 1099, and/or vendors.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
+ Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
+ Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies. Typically requires BA and 5-7 years.
+ General familiarity with aerospace medical certification and credentialing operations, standards, and processes.
+ Responsible for Personnel Management to include Work assignments, Counseling, Overtime assignments, Shifts, and other administrative functions.
+ Responsible for administrative matters to include Development and implementation of SOP’s, ISO quality performance and document control, Time Sheet Approvals, Files management, CDRL review and submission, and Administration of certification, licensing and training documentation
Qualifications
+ Must have a bachelor's degree (BA, or BS) in business management, finance or related field.
+ PMP preferred and/or Graduate degree in related fields.
+ Minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience required
+ Must have a Public Trust clearance
