Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an experienced High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a High Voltage Electrical Engineer at TI, you'll be directly responsible for overseeing the design of high voltage electrical systems for our new semiconductor wafer fab and Assembly/Test facilities. TI Facilities operates over 150 different utility systems that include chemicals, gasses, variety of electrical systems, water systems, HVAC, waste, vacuum, and controls. These systems are designed to run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without interruption, creating a state of the art manufacturing environment. Facilities works closely with TI's manufacturing team to understand how the utility systems impact the process as well as how to reduce consumption.
The successful candidate will be proficient in High and Medium voltage substation and distribution project planning, design, construction, and commissioning; it is expected that they have an understanding of requirements and limitations in the following key expertise areas.
Responsibilities include:
+ High voltage and Medium voltage Protection and Control design and planning.
+ High voltage and medium voltage power distribution and substation design (138kV to 15kV & 15kV to 4160V/480V)
+ Greenfield and brownfield project experience with mission critical mindset.
+ Smart device interconnection design and planning.
+ Understanding of Industrial networking and SCADA for electrical systems.
+ Relaying fiber network, design, implementation and commissioning.
+ Redundant high reliability electrical design
+ Mission critical and zero downtime environment.
+ Station Service controls DC distribution design, construction and commissioning.
+ Wholistic system commissioning, planning and execution.

Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related
+ 5 years' experience in high voltage electrical engineering, design and construction

+ Proficient with PC hardware and windows based applications
+ Ability to analyze existing systems and associated monitoring equipment to troubleshoot and resolve problems
+ Ability to develop and update Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, Sequence of Operations, I/O lists, panel drawings and instrumentations lists
