• Senior Network Security Engineer

    ManTech (Clarksburg, WV)


    ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior** **Network Security Engineer** to join our team in **Clarksburg WV.**

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    + Collaborate with network administrators, project managers and other network engineers to perform their job duties.

    + Implementing, diagnosing, and repairing network issues.

    + Developing networks and coordinating with team members to identify network needs.

    + Analyze user needs and develop solutions.

    + Aid employees and other individuals on how to maintain the network effectively.

    + Establishing, developing, and maintaining computer networks between organizations utilizing existing infrastructure.

    + Maintain network security ensuring that network data remains secure.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + 7 + years of relevant work experience.

    + Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise.

    + Five to ten years of experience working with advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, Junos Operating System (JUNOS), and Internetwork Operating System (iOS).

    + Knowledge of networking hardware including CPUs, wiring, and routers.

    + Familiarity with communication and routing protocols.

    + Familiarity with network analysis tools including Riverbed, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Splunk.

    + Proficiency with coding languages including Linux and Ansible.

    + Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.

    + High level problem-solving and communication skills.

    + Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, and SAFe.

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or information technology preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.

    Security Clearance Requirements:

    + Must have a current/active Top-Secret clearance.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

    + Constantly operates a computer.

    + Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
