    Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Art Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the academic and personal growth of high school students. This role requires a creative approach to teaching, the ability to engage students in various subjects, and a focus on developing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.

    + Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.

    + Provide mentorship and tutoring support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals.

    + Collaborate with fellow educators in curriculum development and instructional strategies.

    + Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.

    + Foster a nurturing environment that supports childhood development and encourages student participation.

    + Incorporate Montessori principles where applicable to enhance the learning experience.

    + Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification is preferred.

    + Strong knowledge of subject matter

    + Experience in mentoring students and managing classroom behavior effectively.

    + Familiarity with curriculum development processes and educational best practices.

    + Ability to calculate and analyze student performance data for informed decision-making.

    + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.

    + A passion for teaching and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

    Pay: $48,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
