When hospitals cannot provide the advanced care, expertise and new treatment options their patients require, they turn to us. *Job Summary:* Performs general preventive maintenance and repair of various areas around the facility. Job Responsibilities: • Completes work orders, documents appropriate information on completed work and/or documents the status of equipment in order to maintain appropriate records for regulatory agencies • Utilizes materials (wood, metal, concrete, plastics, composites) to fit and install glass windows, pictures, ceiling tiles, perimeter rail systems, wood trim and moldings, medical hardware stations, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations and other projects • Performs general outside maintenance (mowing lawns, weeding, raking leaves, trimming bushes, snow removal and ice control tasks (shoveling & salting) • Perform minor plumbing repairs and replacements of faucets, toilets and flush valves • Performs the decorative application to walls, ceiling and other structures which include scraping, sanding, filling holes and cracks, removing /replacing outlet and switch covers, masking and applying paint or wall covering to surfaces based on manufacturing specifications • Perform other related duties as required. • 1 year’s general building maintenance • Requires at least two years of horticulture experience in a retail, wholesale, or grounds keeping environment. • Good interpersonal skills. Ct driver’s license required. • Must be able to operate standard landscaping power equipment. • Ability to operate Winter machinery such as Bobcat. • Experience with winter plowing preferred. • Ability to work as a team and independently.
