Job Description

Job Summary:

Teledyne LeCroy Inc., located in Chestnut Ridge, NY (Rockland County, NY), is a high-tech leading manufacturer of high-performance electronic test and measurement equipment. We are looking for a talented, highly motivated Software Engineering student to fill a Co-op assignment with our company from Spring through Fall 2025. This position is located at Chestnut Ridge, NY headquarters location.

Detailed Description:

As a Software Engineering Co-op you would be part of a team developing and testing software for use with digital oscilloscopes and other test equipment, geared toward specific customer applications, such as serial data physical layer compliance, automotive serial data testing, power analysis, and more. Your responsibilities will focus around designing and testing software for digital oscilloscopes. Additionally, you will gain exposure to manufacturing and operations through new product development and assist with manufacturing-engineering troubleshooting efforts.

Requirements:

+ Pursuing BSEE or equivalent with 2 years of coursework

+ Pursuing MSEE or equivalent

+ Development experience in C/C++ and Python programming

+ Knowledge of firmware programming principles

+ Knowledge of digital and analog hardware electronics

+ Knowledge of electronics test equipment, like oscilloscope and logic analyzer

+ Must be an inquisitive problem solver and a proactive thinker

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Must have good communication skills

Salary Range:

$58,100.00-$77,400.000
