    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic I Reports To: Maintenance Manager

     

    Department/Area: Maintenance Grade: 3 + shift differential

     

    Shift: 1st (6:45am-3:15pm) overtime as needed

     

    2nd (2:45pm-11:15pm) overtime as needed

     

    3rd (10:45pm-7:15am) overtime as needed

    JOB SUMMARY

    This role will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and

     

    maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance

     

    systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

    JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned):

    1. Complete work tickets and preventative maintenance tickets on a daily and weekly basis

    2. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all fabrication equipment which

    includes lasers, brakes, welding, press, and paint operations

    3. Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical applications. Use shop tools to effect

     

    repairs on equipment while adhering to a world class manufacturing operation.

     

    4. Perform small plant projects and down time work and support machine vendors

    5. Maintain a positive attitude and working relationship with all associates

    6. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices - Understanding of LOTO, PPE -Excellent verbal

    and written skills

    7. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

    8. Lift up to 50lbs repetitively

    9. Performs other related duties as assigned

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma/GED

    • 1+ years experience with automated conveyor systems and controls

    • 1+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 1+ years experience in reading blueprints and electrical schematics

    • Effective communication skills

    • Basic computer skills

    • Technical/Trade Education

    • 1+ years experience in a continuous improvement environment
