    Job Summary

    Novant Health Medical Group is looking for a compassionate, Advanced Practice Provider to join a compassionate well-established full spectrum program offering inpatient, outpatient and community-based Hospice & Palliative care services in Winston-Salem, NC.

     

    Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team that promotes team wellness and career development opportunities.

    Opportunity Highlights:

    + PRN Hours based on provider’s schedule and availability

    + 7 day a week service with many opportunities for PRN hours

    + Inpatient Care with the opportunity to be involved with clinic if desired

    + Community hospital, large tertiary center with 900+ licensed beds

    + Palliative Care Unit with specialized nursing care

    Candidate Qualifications:

    + Education: Master's Degree required.  Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master’s NP program required.

    + Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required. NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, BLS, DEA registry required.

    Responsibilities & Duties:

    + This position is primarily at NH Forsyth Medical Center. May be asked to support other sites in the Greater Winston-Salem market based on staffing needs.

    + As an inpatient consultant you will perform: Patient Assessments and Management, Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration, Patient and Family Education and Support, Symptom Management, Admission and Discharging
