Job Summary

The Director of Retail & Specialty Pharmacy Ops is responsible for the development and implementation of Novant Health’s strategy for pharmacy business, 340B, and team member pharmacy benefit management consistent with the health system’s mission, vision, goals, and values. Collaborates with organizational leaders and manages interdependencies across divisions to design and provide pharmacy services.Responsibilities include leadership of: 340B program compliance and operations; accountability for financial reporting and supports the financial health of the organization through revenue integrity and other financial initiatives; support of pharmacy business unit financial planning and growth; and manages human resources including development of team members. Stimulates interest, knowledge and support of pharmacy leaders across the enterprise through presentations, webcasts, and other interactions designed to increase engagement in program initiatives and is able to put together a business plan and financial analysis. Qualifications

+ Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - BS Pharm or PharmD, required. Master's Degree, preferred.

+ Experience: 5 years or more experience as Director or associate or assistant director of a large hospital pharmacy, required.

+ Licensure/Certification: Pharm State License, required. Good Standing with Board of Pharmacy, required.

+ Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency assessment. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to work well with a variety of professionals and to work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong critical thinking and problem skills. Strong relationship and customer service skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other health care professionals and lead change. Possesses consulting skills. Is team-oriented, supportive, and cooperative. Ability to continuously re-prioritize, demonstrates flexibility, and processes multiple issues simultaneously.
