    _The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule_ **_YEAR-ROUND_** _._

    Your Responsibilities

    As a **Part Time Student** for **JD** **Waterloo Works** located in **Waterloo** **, IA** , you will:

    + Supports multiple machining departments in their daily functions

    + Assist with perishable tool creation in Tool Data Management (TDM) software

    + Audit shopfloor documentation used by machining operators and correct as needed

    + Gather, review and analyze information

    + Learns and applies company engineering policies and practices

     

    This position is NOT available to students on immigration visas

    What Skills You Need

    + Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Engineering/Technology; others may apply

    + Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university

    + Graduation date of May 2027 or later; others may apply

    + Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher

    + Available to work 12-20 hours weekly during school year

    + Available to work 20-40 hours per week during summer

    + Must be able to commute to work location in Waterloo, Iowa year-round
