Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Develops, modifies and maintains computer application software integrated across multiple platforms and architectures.

+ Analyzes existing business requirements to ascertain feasibility, implementation requirements, and performance.

+ Provides technical guidance and direction in the development and production turnover of application software solutions.

+ Provides technical guidance and direction in the development and production turnover of application software solutions.

+ Leads and directs the architecture and design concepts for application software development.

+ Plans and coordinates programming projects within a particular work group.

+ Acts as a senior programming consultant in advanced computer technology and architecture.

+ Assists and advises subordinate personnel in the resolution of highly technical and complex problems.

+ Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ A bachelor's degree and five years of applications software development experience OR seven years of applications software development experience.

+ Must be proficient in at least three computer languages and one development workbench suite currently used in production.

+ Experience as a supervisor or team leader is required.
