Description

RESPONSIBILIITES:

+ Develops, modifies and maintains computer application software in a 7 x 24 Tier I environment, integrated across multiple platforms and architectures.

+ Analyzes existing business requirements to ascertain feasibility, implementation requirements, and performance. Provides detailed programming specifications and documentation.

+ Reviews programs for logical sequence and errors.

+ Works in accordance with the development guidelines and architectures provided by leadership.

+ Advises other application software specialists of possible solutions to work problems. Performs programming, testing, and documentation.

+ Recommends redevelopment of application routines needed for the efficient use of computer sources.

+ Designs approved routines and oversee their implementation.

+ Assists and advises peers in the solution of highly technical and complex problems and solutions.

+ Adheres to internal controls and standards established for department.

+ Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management or related field and four years of application software development experience OR six years of application software development experience without a degree.

+ Must be proficient in at least three computer languages and one development workbench suite currently used in production.
