Job Description
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a member of the Texas A&M University System, welcomes applicants for a/an Instructional Assistant Professor (RELLIS Campus) to begin Fall 2025.

This is a three (3) year, non-tenure track, faculty appointment with the potential of renewal based on annual evaluations. This position is for our off-campus instructional site at the RELLIS Campus in Bryan/College Station, Texas. RELLIS campus is a collaborative ecosystem built to foster advanced research, technology development, testing and evaluation, higher education, and hands-on career training.
Primary duties will include teaching five courses per semester including required upper-level courses and electives in Digital and Strategic Communication; advising students; and serving on committees. A regular schedule of attendance on the RELLIS campus and in the workplace is required. Virtual meetings with faculty at the main campus in Laredo may be required. Duties also include attending promotional events at Blinn College, RELLIS, and at other sites as well as serving as the liaison between RELLIS communication students and the Department of Psychology and Communication at TAMIU. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on the RELLIS campus and in the workplace.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold an earned graduate degree in Communication or a closely related field. If the discipline is outside of Communication, 18 graduate semester credit hours in Communication are required. We strongly encourage candidates with prior experience teaching communication courses as an Instructor of Record.
