    **Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Lenel Principal Project Manager/Sr. Principal Project Manager 3/4 to support our physical security team as an individual contributor.** This position will be responsible for managing physical security projects across the sector, performing security assessments and independently identifying countermeasures to mitigate risks. Completes project documents including design drawings and statements of work for access control, intrusion detection and video systems. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of physical security projects and serves as liaison between stakeholders and selected suppliers. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress, intervention and problem solving with other stakeholders and selected suppliers.

     

    This position can be filled at either a level 3 or level 4.

    Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

    + Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.

    + 5+ years experience managing and programming physical security projects involving Lenel OnGuard.

    + Bachelor’s degree 5+ years experience (3+ with a Masters) in managing physical security projects to include construction specifications, access control, intrusion detection and video systems. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

    + Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously

    + Experience interfacing with all levels of employees and Leadership

    + Ability to lead and manage projects related to IDS, Lenel, Video Systems and other physical/technical security related systems.

    + Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines.

    + Attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning and presentation skills are required.

    + Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships with others.

    + Knowledgeable in ICD 705, NISPOM and applicable UL standards.

    + Experience with access control, IDS and video system

    + Ability to travel as required.

    Salary Range: $108,400.00 - $162,600.00Salary Range 2: $0.00 - $0.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
