**Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems** is looking for an **Electrical Engineer** to support the Circuit Design organization in **San Diego, CA** .

As a member of the circuit design team, you will be responsible for circuit development for the program enterprise. You will perform detailed

electrical circuit design, circuit level analysis, and LabView Design. You will support qualification testing by preparing test procedures and reports.

Finally, you will support hardware production manufacturing.

_Note: This position can be filled at the Electrical Engineer or Principal Electrical Engineer level._

Basic** **Qualifications:

+ Basic qualifications for an Electrical Engineer - Bachelors in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 2 years engineering related experience, OR Master’s in STEM with 0 years of experience

+ Basic qualifications for aPrincipal Electrical Engineer - Bachelors in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 5 years engineering related experience, OR Master’s in STEM with 3 years of experience, OR a PhD in STEM and 1 year of experience

+ Experience with schematic capture and board layout using Altium Designer

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred** **Qualifications:

+ Active Secret DoD Clearance

+ Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on mixed circuit design

+ Experience with OrCAD, Pspice, or LTspice for circuit simulation

+ Experience with IPC and Military standards, and Northrop Grumman Circuit Card Design specifications

+ Statement of work includes detailed electrical circuit design, circuit level analysis, support qualification testing, preparing of test procedures and reports, and supporting hardware production manufacturing.

Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00Salary Range 2: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
