As a **Program Cost Control - Level 4 (Senior Principal)** , your role at Dulles, VA will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security.     Our Program Cost Control Analyst will help prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis. You will also work to ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation for expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.

    Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:

    + Serves as the Lead for Earned Value Management (EVM) and Cost Management System (Cobra); Interface with Cost Account Managers and provides monthly cost/schedule data for the program.

    + Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system

    + Support financial management on the program, including forecasting, planning, estimate-at-complete (EAC) maintenance, and program control/Earned Value Management (EVMS).

    + Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support

    + Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines

    + Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete

    + Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual Estimates at Complete (EACs)

    + Effectively communicating with leadership and customers regarding financial status, metrics and deliverables

    + Other duties as assigned

    Your Expertise - Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience

    + Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree

    + Experience with financial analysis or reporting

    + Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis.

    + Demonstrated working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and customer reporting

    + Experience successfully managing and producing data with strict deadlines

    + Experience with Deltek Cobra Reporting Tool

    + Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access

    What Sets You Apart:

    + Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration

    + Defense industry experience

    + Earned Value Management (EVM) experience

    + Program Cost Control experience

    + Experience with FAR/DFAR

    + Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, Primavera or SAP

    Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
