    Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Aeronautics Systems sector is currently seeking a **Machinist 3** to join our team in **Hopkinton, MA** . You’ll be responsible for generating CNC programs using Mastercam. Set up and operate Haas VF using step files & solid models. Overall machine shop knowledge including the use milling and lathe machines. Ability to machine complex high power microwave parts to tight tolerance (+/-.001) in a secured environment. Close interaction with engineering and manufacturing is required.

    Basic Qualifications** **:

    + High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.

    + Ability to generate Mastercam programs, set up and operate Hass VF2

    + Must be able to work from drawings/solid models.

    + 4 years’ experience working in a machine shop

    + US Citizenship

    + Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds and stand for 4 hours at a time

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Silver torch braze copper filter assemblies.

    + Ability to operate ProtoTRAK Bed/Knee Mill

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

     

    Salary Range: $59,300.00 - $98,900.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
