Offer Based on Years of Experience What You Need to Know The Sr. Platform Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing our platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and supporting our development and operations teams. Administer and maintain Windows Server environments. Configure and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and domain-related tasks. Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure, including but not limited to AVD, Storage, Networking, Azure backup, Azure Update manager, key vault, Image gallery. Administer and troubleshoot Exchange and M365 environments (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint). Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell. Utilize Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management. Support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Server and Azure environments. Collaborate with non-technical users to understand and address their needs. Manage Azure AD Connect and Entra AD Connect. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and implement appropriate change management and security controls. Identify and implement opportunities to transition to cloud-native technologies for improved efficiency. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth. Lead technical projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Bachelor or greater degree in a Computer Science related field preferred 10 years proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role. Experience with M365 administration (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint). Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop. Experience working in an IaC CI/CD environment Experience working in a regulated industry with appropriate change management and security controls. Experience in a senior or lead role, with demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
