Description

Are you a talented SQL Database Administrator looking for a role where you can focus on database administration and support? Our Milwaukee area based client is seeking a Senior SQL DBA to join their collaborative team.

What You’ll Do:

+ Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases in a production environment.

+ Ensure database performance, integrity, and security while managing backups and disaster recovery solutions.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, providing expert-level support.

+ Work closely with internal teams to implement best practices for database maintenance and optimization.

+ Assist in database migrations, upgrades, and performance tuning initiatives.

Requirements

What You Bring:

+ Proven expertise in SQL Server database administration with a strong focus on support and maintenance.

+ Experience with high-availability solutions, backups, recovery models, and performance tuning.

+ Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

+ Familiarity with automation, monitoring, and scripting for database management is a plus.
