Description We are seeking a DevOps Team Lead to join our team in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be managing our DevOps team, designing processes and procedures, and collaborating with the Product team to meet business objectives. As a DevOps Team Lead, you will also be required to take a lead role in creating technical documentation, managing sprints, and assisting other members of the DevOps team with projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Leading and managing the DevOps team
• Collaborating with the Product team to understand requirements and meet both short-term and long-term business objectives
• Designing and implementing DevOps processes and procedures that fit into the enterprise platform ecosystem
• Contributing to cross-team platform design decisions
• Creating technical documentation and transferring knowledge across the team
• Leading the DevOps team to adopt a security-first mindset
• Taking ownership of problems and solutions, and being proactive to ensure success
• Providing innovative problem-solving skills and thinking outside the box
• Collaborating with development teams
• Designing and creating build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Managing and modifying existing pipelines, troubleshooting deployment issues
• Managing existing Azure PaaS resources and DevOps organization and projects
• Creating Azure ARM, Bicep templates, and PowerShell scripts as needed for infrastructure as code deployments
• Managing and modifying existing build agents and servers
• Collaborating with IT team members to troubleshoot Azure issues. Requirements • Proven experience as a DevOps Team Lead or similar role in software development.
• Proficiency in Amazon EC2 is a must for managing scalable and secure cloud computing services.
• Strong knowledge of Ansible for IT automation is required.
• Familiarity with Apache ANT+ and Apache Tomcat for building and managing projects is essential.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira for tracking and managing software development projects is needed.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies for project management is necessary.
• Solid understanding of Automation techniques for improving workflow efficiency is expected.
• Broad knowledge of AWS Technologies to manage cloud services is required.
• Experience in Cluster Analysis for managing high-traffic websites and applications is essential.
• Proficient in Configuration Management to handle system configuration across large-scale infrastructure. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
